Corel x5 problems, traced image wont cut please help?
Hi all
Ive hit a brick wall, trying to do a favour for a friend.
i have imported the jpeg image i want o use (single colour) used corels power trace to convert the image then applied my contour cut colour as outline and selected no fill. my graphtec plotter says data recieving but nothing happens, any ideas what im doing wrong???
if i delete everything and type any text with the text tool and apply same outline and no fill it cuts fine. any help greatly appreciated

I LOVE IT when you solve things yourself, all it was is that i needed to convert it to hairline outline, well i say solved it is cutting something atleast as i type.

Paul, why are tracing this !!??
Much better to buy a disc with symbols etc on or just google a vector.
You will get much better results and save time.John

reason is there are 12 of these signs and are all hand drawn
my friend is painting a series of signs for someone there are 12 designs but 30 odd signs to be painted.
she wants them all to appear as hand painted but wants dupicletes to appear consistenti hope this makes sense basically she is using the vinyl as a stencil to paint.
i do have a disc with symbols etc for signage but she wants to achieve the "shoddy" look haha -
Pretty sure that particular symbol will be included in the Corel clipart collection anyway. Certainly worth having a look.
