  • Labels for print & Cut???

    Hi All,

Just wondered what is the best label stock to use on our Roland Versacamm VP 540i?

We currently just use vinyl for this but this is not great, as we have more need for labels, eg; 100 labels for Storage containers i cant imagine vinyl is the best material for price, wear & application.

These would have to be print and cut on the Roland.

    Many thanks again!

    Cheers

    Ed

Metamark do a vinyl for Labels.

I can’t remember the product number, but I do recall reading somewhere about their label vinyl.

when you say storage containers, are we talking the sorta matt (low energy type) plastic or metal?

if the mudguard type plastic then you need a specialist vinyl for that or it will just curl back or come off if scored against.

    quote Jason Bagladi:

i am crap with vnyl codes etc but if the one Jason is refering to is the textured type digital film, then that is a good product and finish to it for this sort of thing.

The stuff Neil has refereed to is a good alternative for low cost labels.
i had the guy in from DTEC just recently and they had some great media in the range. one in particular was the stay flat roll up banner material. was better priced than what i was currently paying also i think…

the thing is, if your looking for abrasion, chemical or UV attack protection then the only way to fully combat that is lamination.
