  • Has anyone got a SYSTEM 4000 CUTTER?

Hi all, i have a possible opportunity to buy a System 4000 cutter. I just have a few questions

Will it cut aluminum composite and 10mm foam board?

What is the largest size panel i can cut on it?

Where can i buy extra blades and spares from?

Any idea of a price these were new and second hand?

Also when i go to look it over is there anything i should be looking carefully at?

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance if anyone can help jean

I have one Jean, it will cut composite and it has an extra attachment which will cut it with rollers and leaves a lovely clean burrless edge.
I cut 10mm board in a few passes.
I have a framing business and the straight blades I use for my keencut mountcutter work in it, so I have never contacted Keencut for spare blades, can’t imagine there would be a problem getting baldes for it.
I can only cut panels about 5ft deep which is a pity.
I paid 500 euros for mine I think, brilliant bit of kit as it also has an attachment that cuts glass.

Look out for the cut staying straight over the full length. Can have a tendency to wander.

thanks for your imput. I contacted the dealers and they were adamant that it would not cut aluminium composite and tried to upsell me to top of the range. In the meantime the cutter was withdrawn from sale so still looking thanks again jean
