  sp300 not printing yellow and cant get in Service Mode

  Hi,
  My roland sp300v was all ok then the yellow stopped printing all together 🙁
  I have seen a few threads on here with proposed solutions,so i am going to go through the list.
  the other problem i have i when i press down,left,right and power it says on screen service mode protected.

  i have the 7.30 firmware i downloaded from roland jp

  any help would be appreciated

  Here is an update and this is what i have done today,
  I have swapped the yellow and magenta head ribbon cables round to and yellow still did not print, so put the cables back and ooops!! the magenta does not work along with the yellow now, ive checked f2 and f3 and they are ok.
  Any help at all would be grateful folks!!

  Hi Ian,

  This might not be the most constructive response (or the answer your looking for)……. but it might be time to call in an engineer.

  The time you take not manufacturing, add in the possibility of damaging the machine further then its just not worth the hassle of trying to fix it yourself 😀
