Hi all, can anyone shed any light o a problem i have at the momeent please?

I have a SP300 and when i print black it seems as if it is over spraying past the point the black part finishes?

Any help or advice is much appreciated

Am I right in think there is an overspray of magenta in there too or is it just the photo that’s adding that. I’ve seen many things cause that:

    Static, as mentioned.
    Print head (hopefully not)
    Head cable (my first guess)

I’m not familiar with that particular printer yet but I would try swapping head cables around to try and move the fault to another colour. Obviously, do not attempt this unless you are familiar with doing such hardware repairs, you could cause mroe damage if it’s done incorrectly.
