    Hi all
When I print red its not vibrant, its coming out like a pink and i have changed the print head adapter as i was told it was cracked and drawing in air.

Anyone any idea of how to solve this??

When you perform a test print (nozzle check), is everything ok? All the nozzles are there? It seems that you don’t have one color (yellow???) If everything is ok with the test print, you can try some color management adjustments (density control only – should help).

this is where it can be a number of things…

1: no suction under yellow head when cleaning/filling
    2: dirt under head
    3: no ink
    4: leaky cap issues

if u cant get it back, then its an engineering issue

You have 2 cap-tops. Both cap-top tubes are connected to the pump. Take out from the pump joint the tube corresponding to to Mg/Ye head and plug in a syringe. Try to pull some ink through the print-head. If you pull air, and the syringe doesn’t make vacuum (resistance), then you have to replace or clean the cap-top on it’s upper side(the black area closing the head). If you pull air, there can also be a problem with the damper. The damper on yellow. Replace that also. If it’s not the damper , then is the head adapter(manifold) on yellow(the black nipple where you place the damper.

From what you were telling us, the cause might be the damper or the cap-top.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks, I just replaced the print head adapter and no change so I will get a new damper. (Tho it was changed only a few weeks ago during the engineer carrying out a service).

Well, it’s no wonder that the damper must be replaced after couple of weeks.
Weird things happens all the time! :).
