    Hello everyone !
I need a help finding a very exotic for the Bulgarian sign making market material. A week ago I was contacted by a person who has a helicopter charter business, and currently has signed a contract for an aerial advertising campaign with a major Bulgarian company. They have ordered a large banner ( USA made ) that will be flown by a helicopter ( size 30 m / 20 m – 600 sq.m. ), but there was a small tear in one of the joined pieces. I will be very thankful if somebody tells me the material that is used for aerial banners ( looks like solvent printed ripstop nylon ) and method for joining the pieces ( glue or thermal ). Thanks a lot in advance !

    Regards IVO

way over my head this one… (pardon the pun) 😕 :lol1:
i would suggest asking trade suppliers of building wraps?
i would imagine high frequency welding maybe even coupled by stitching on a heavy grade banner material. but then again, mesh would reduce wind load.
as i said, specialist requirement there mate. maybe best talking to those in the know. get a quote and spec on how they will do it for you. a good start maybe http://www.macroart.com ? i use them for large stuff we cant do i-house, but ive never been involved with plane or helicopter advertising as such.
