    Hello Chris
You have a lot of experience of the Cutting Plotter Graphtec JX 1060, I needed the significance of the individual switches on the DIP switch so that I can configure the machine, you can help me.
Or perhaps you have a manual where this is described?

    Hi
Individual settings are not given just the defaults.
    as described before.
only other setting is to clear the non-volatile ram.
all settings and adjustments made to the machine will be LOST. so i would not do it.

what is the problem you are trying to over come.

as a printer it is next to useless and quite poor quality by to days standards. it is capable of reasonable posters with dye inks but thats about it.

as a cutter only it is first class even compared to a new £3000 one.

Many thanks Chris. The problem is when I start the machine, he don’t find the sensor and give me y-alarm.
    Best regards
    Jürgen

with the machine switched off can you move the cutter head to the left freely.
is the print carriage as far to the right as it can go.

when you switch on the you will not be able to move the cutter head, press F1 with some vinyl in and it should start.
