Tar & Glue Spray Bottle
hey guys (& gals)
we keep tar and glue remover in spray bottles for easy application the problem is the fluid keeps melting the spray mechanism and making the bottles useless is there any better bottles or spray heads to keep this stuff in or is there an easier application method??Regards

I would be very careful with Tar & Glue remover in a spary bottle. Some years back, we had a member of staff really hurt their eyes due to tar & glue blowing back into their face in the wind. we no longer use spray bottles for this reason… Great product, just not good for washing your eyes with! 😉 :lol1:

I agree with Robs advice, but if you really must use a spray bottle then you can get these from "Neilsen" which is a franchise supplier of chemicals to the motor trade. They also provide a tar and glue remover at a good price along with spray bottle designed to handle petroleum based solvents

so what would you guys recommend if the spray bottle isn’t a good idea i do alot of delogo’ing so any help would be appreciated

If we use it, we apply the remover to the rag and apply it that way.

I use a spray used in the motor trade, ours is for brake cleaner, and has metal pump action, BTW brake cleaner is also quite a good glue remover!
There is also a gadget that the motor trad use, that dispenses the cleaner to a rag.the one we use is TAMM538 as shown here,

the advice given with most liquids in spray form, is to use safety goggles.
