  • Sewing a zip into a double sided banner.

    Guys

I have a job that needs a zip stitched into a double sided banner. I have an industrial sewing machine but when i tried sewing the banner I often marked the print. I have asked some of the large format printers to price for it but when I mention sewing in a strip they are all backing off. Anybody got any suggestions?

If your using a industrial sewing machine try using a "ring foot" rather than a standard foot as the ring foot does not mark the print.

Cheers Andrew. I dont know a lot about the machine to be honest – my mother in law was getting rid of it and I thought it would do my job well

you could always learn the back stitch and do it by hand ????

You could try Boldscan in the toolbar – they have just done some for us which had all
sorts of cut-outs and poppers and velcro stitched on. May be worth a try.

I have just tried them and banner box so hopefully one of the two will come through for me.

    Thanks
