  • who else apart from Robert Horne supply Orafol materials?

Posted by John Dorling on 31 March 2011 at 09:22

    Hi

Can someone please tell me who else apart from Robert Horne supply Orafol materials? The dealer locator on the Orafol site doesn’t work.

    Thanks

    John

John, don’t know if they still do but the vinyl corporation use to supply their stuff and had an online shop. That was about a year or so ago when I was having problems with Robert Horn and had to go elsewhere.

    Hi Martin

Thanks. I just rang them and the lady I spoke to was very helpful, but they don’t stock 3951 or 3551 which is what I need. Anyone know any other companies that carry these products?

    Thanks

    John

John, try doing a google search for oracal vinyl, I just tried and it threw up a few companies I have never heard of. I know a recommend company would be better but at least it’s a start and if nothing else I’ve bumped your post back to the top :lol1:

Thanks Martin! To be honest that was the first thing I tried, but I need lots of stuff and nobody apart from RH stock it all. I have at last found a helpful lady at the Northampton office who is trying to help me. I used to use EuroPoint for all my vinyl, but I had to find different suppliers when RH bought them out because they said my account was no longer valid! 👿

    Thanks

John, I feel your pain lol. I had exactly the same problem, was a cash customer with Europoint and never a problem, when RH took over I kept getting over charged despite telling them I was a UKSG member. They set up an account for me which was through the Manchester depot which is no good to me as I am in Scotland.

I’m not a big customer so they are obviously not interested in my business.

Its a shame. I’d probably use the wrap stuff but RH are not good on customer service. There seem to be too many branches and they dont cooperate with each other very well.

I have used Europoint & then RH for years and although i went through a spell of no stock it has sorted itself out over the last year, service is always brilliant. We call the UKSG 0845 number & you do get the occasional new person but i just chase the rep if i’m not 100% sure the person as dealt with the order correctly
