    Hi Guy & Gals,
Having a bit of a problem with versaworks and using eps files to print.
Export from Corel x4 in eps, postscript level 3 and when I try to rip these Versaworks crashes.
Its ok with previously used eps files just cant get it to run anything new I do
No problems if I use JPG’s
Havent used the machine for a while and the only change was the software update to v4.20.
Am I missing / forgetting some little trick here?
    Hopefully someone can help.
    Thanks in advance
    Nigel

Nigel, its well known that their is a glitch with versa and corel eps files the only way around is to bring the corel eps into illustrator and save back as an illustrator eps this will not crash your versa the only other way is to save fron corel as a pdf

I’ve had the same problem, with large EPS files.

I normally make a JPG print file (without cut contour), then make a separate EPS file will all the cut contour’s in (without any design work).

Then set them up in the same way in versa works, using the JPG as print only and the EPS as a cut only.

Might be worth trying exporting the eps with and without headers and also headers in different formats.
