Flexi Sign Pro Problems
Just wanna know if anyone else out there has had similar problems with Flexi-Pro.
When I have a large file with lots of text and vectors on (around 10mb) the programs works very slowy, especially typing, which can be 1 character every 1-2 seconds. Also zooming and panning becomes slower.
I have Flexi Expert on another machine, which handles the file without any problem at all.
SAI are denying any problem, but I want to see if any others are having any issues, this was the case with V7.5 and after we upgraded to V8.6.let me know

It does get slow with big files that have a lot of complicated vectors on yes. Obviously depends on your computer spec too.

We have Intel i7 processors with 3gb of ram, so no problem with the PC speed at all.
The strange thing is the Expert on the same machine runs like a dream.
I have complained to SAI re this, after we spent £2500 on software upgrades to 3 machines, and bought 2 new top spec PCs to help speed up this issue.
Their only suggestion was to offer us an expert code to use for larger files instead of the PRO!! great eh!!??So trying to find others out there that have spent more money buying the pro version only to have speed issues.

That is surprising then. I thought Expert was just a cut down version.

SAI say that the extra features in PRO might slow it down a bit, so trying to reach out to other PRO users to try and let SAI know that its not just me who is finding this issue a problem, and so they might be able to patch the software problem.
Only thing is now they have updated flexi to 10! -
You are running i7 processors but what operating system is that on, V7.5 is
an old version for such late processors etcKev

we are running Flexi V8.6 V2 on an XP 32 bit operating system.

XP wasn’t built to handle the new i3, i5 & i7 intel processors so your machines might not be as fast as you think, also there will be limitations in the programs you are running for the same reason. I don’t think flexi has ever been great at handling very large text files, seem to remember someone on here talking about it years ago.

the point im trying to get across is the fact that on the same machine flexi expert & sign is x8 faster on a big file compared to Pro!
I know Pro has more features but I cant understand why when you pay more money for it, and Sai (Flexi) dont care about it!!
Just need to know if any one else has noticed the same thing??
