Thomas, it’s framing you are looking for, goes under various names like eurotrim, panatrim etc etc, comes in 5 or 6 mtr lengths but some suppliers will make the frames up for you.
Have a look on the toolbar as there are quite a few companies that will do it. -
Cheers Martin. Just found it. My salesman has no idea about how they fit together, bless im! so i gotta go out with him tomorrow and price it up.

Smp sell it in kit form ready to put together. It is a doddle to do yourself though if you have the kit(a mitre saw that’ll cut ally)
Worth taking membership on here as I’m pretty sure there is a tutorial on this and plenty more.
Cheers

Quoted, found a supplier at last! When we went to measure up the sign, another shop owner walked over to the one we were at and wispered to the customer ‘get their quote, i have a friend who will beat it’.
LOL heared this one before. Fine go for the cheap guy, theres a chance the the quality, efficiancy and backup wont be there!…. I’m such a hypocrite!
Also had a guy in who went to see my boss for an interview. I designed his graphics for his van a few months ago, booked him in for fitting and he never turned up! he took the design and went to someone he knows and got him to do it instead! Cheeky B£$%ard! he’s our new odd job/sign errector… i can feel some wind ups coming on! he wasted 2hours of my time. Payback time! its called Karma i think hehehehe

Coming from someone who doesn’t even know what sign trim is.. that’s got to take the biscuit 🙄

I’m surprised you’re surprised.
How can you have the audacity to criticise other sign businesses when you don’t even know what you are doing yourself (demonstrated by the fact you have to ask such basic questions here). 🙄

Phil it was all in jest I just am saying i used to try to beat other companies by undercutting too and i have had that response from other guys on here. That why i now know not to tell people i’ll do it loads cheaper because it doesnt always give a good imprerssion and you tend to shoot yourself in the foot
Didnt mean to offend, sorry -

Bit harsh there Phil eh. For a man that’s written a book specifically so that any Tom, Dick or Harry can gain advice and information on how to become a signmaker with no experience or previous knowledge and is a most prolific contributor to the UKSB ‘how to’ series your comments (however accurate or not) are hardly in line with the welcoming nature we have to promote for newbies.
Not saying that I haven’t made some ‘home truth’ comments in the past! We all have to start somewhere and however misguided the flippant remarks of Thomas were I honestly thought you of all people would offer guidance not criticism. Not the sort of comments that you would include in the aforementioned writings…Just a thought…
