A customer wants a shelby style stripe to go over the bonnet and front bumper of their mini cooper s – they want the vinyl cut round the badge. i have the impact vehicle library, if i design round the badge will it come out right? also – whats the best kind of vinyl to use? cast?

Cast is fine but you will have to cut when the car is present as the outlines are not accurate enough for that.

okay thanks, also the stripes will be going over the washer jets – what do i do about that? place them over the top and then trim round?

Or you could take the jets out – FAR easier.

Now take this the right way as you are very new to the site & I don’t want to sound all ‘high & mighty’ but fitting a set of stripes well isn’t as easy as you might think. Maintaining a visually perfect stripe over the bonnet & bumper can be a challenge for the inexperienced.
