Hi all, i have to fit one complete side of a volvo fire engine. I have traced off the opposite side and will cut by hand in reverse. Its a battenberg design in red and flourescent yellow. I have tried Blue lite and chevron graphics to see if they have this design but they dont. Dose anyone know of a company that will supply this as a kit to fit. It would save me alot of time many thanks jean

If you know what the material is can’t you get it direct from Hexis UK?

Last year I repaired some Ambulance graphics using Reflexite which I gott direct as my usual suppliers didn’t stock it

didn’t need the edges sealing either!!

The material is micro prismatic it should really be sealed once cut. I have to use it to match the other side daybright reflective is great but i cant use it on this job. I want to buy the reflective already cut and sealed so i am looking for the kit. That said i ordered material last night just in case as the job needs to be done on Thursday

Sorry, see what you mean, edges are sealed on the kits. I’ve bought the ones from Victory but I’ve only seen them for the rear doors. Don’t know if the manufacture ‘in-house’ so might be able to do?

Thanks to all who replied, I ended up cutting the lot but also cut templates for future use. Would still be interested if anyone else knows of companies that cut kits thanks and have a good weekend.

There are 4 suppliers to the trade that specialise in vehicle kits on the UKSB Sign Toolbar.

    self installs in seconds.

once installed, look under the UK SUPPLIERS tab, then under VINYL, PRINT & Window Films tab> then under CHEVRON KITS FOR VEHIClES.

    Hi Jean

I must apologize 😳 we have a couple of new members of staff in the office and I’m guessing who ever you spoke with hasn’t got to grips with everything quite yet.

We do sell Microprismatic reflective 9900 series. Its a 3M product and your quite right it needs to be edge sealed. There is a variety of ways you can achieve this. Our kits get ultrasonically sealed while plotted.
You can buy a can of edge sealer or I’ve known people to run a slither of clear laminate along the edges……..in fact people have even used clear nail varnish but most sign makers don’t have that to hand :lol1:

Again I’m very sorry that our office didn’t not get the correct info to you……..I’ll have a word.

    Gill
