I am working on a project for a hotel where they need escape plans printed and the face mounted onto the reversed of A4 acrylic sheets.

I would normally face mount by using a mount film between the print and acrylic but was wondering if there is something I can print onto that would drop the face mount film step?

Only have a cold laminator and am using a pigment ink printer.

The optically clear adhesive layer is also quite expensive so I need to reduce time and cost?

I have 450 to do for this client so welcome any help or advice.

It may be cheaper to outsource and get them screen printed, or the vinyl
thermal printed on a gerber edge?

If I’m understanding you it might be best to outsource as Peter suggests.

Someone with a UV flatbed printer capable of printing white would be able to put these down straight on to the back of the acrylic

Thanks for response. Any recommendations on where to get work done or indications on cost?

Just noticed this is under engraving forum. Sorry thought I posted under general!
