  Light scratch line in print – Gerber Edge

  I wonder if anyone can advise. I am printing solid blocks of gold medal using my Edge and I have light scratch lines in the print. I have changed the plastic strip but this has not cured it, any suggestions or fixes???

  is it a single line, and always in the same place?, if so it a pixel on the head gone,

  Thanks for the reply Ian, no it’s not a pixel. I just wonder if the gold medal
  is softer?? The scratches are across as the vinyl runs through and uneven, almost
  streaky, very odd.

  substitute your vinyl for a different type, ie if 3m 220 change to 3m 225 cast, it makes huge difference sometimes

  Tried that, does work but I lose the high gloss of the medal. Thanks
