  graphtec cutting pro fc 3100-60

  Hi All, looking for some answers to help a friend out who sandbalsts, he has purchased the above and uses corel 12 along with cutting master 2 v1.8

  first question when i try a basic cut test from cutting master to the graphtec I just get error 1 any ideas why please more question when i get the basics right

  check that the cutter is set to GP-GL not HP-GL

  George, does the plotter do the test cuts alright? You should be able to do those without hooking it up to a PC. How is he driving it ? Parallel, serial orusb convertor and what OS is he running.

  I have the FC4100 probably not much different, got the manual for it if that’s any good.

  I’ve got one of those cutters and it cuts happily from Corel but as Chris mentioned the cutter must be set to GPGL as that is the only language Cutting Master uses, resolution must be set the same or stuff cuts wrong size. I think that model shipped as hpgl as default so my guess its a language issue, I am assuming that you have the correct serial cable.
