Window Tinting Course
Hi,
Hope this is the right section.
Has anyone done a Window Tinting Course / Training?
I am after booking one this week but have only found 2places that do it. Has anyone done some and would recommend the company they used?
Plus what were the costs.

Hi Craig, what are the companies that do the training?
We did a week at a tinting company down in gatwick about 7 years ago, we spent the time firstly observing the guys doing their stuff then we started helping and finally spent about 3 days doing windows.
Great time and have done lots since, although not as many now….

I just need to find someone who is willing to train. I have found one company but just wondered if anyone recommended anyone..

I did mine through Bekaert Speciality Films.
Their Sales Manager Stephen Belfort will be able to help.
They have used several trainers over the years so not sure who they are currently using. I initially did a 5 day course for Auto and Archetectural and have attended a couple of free follow ups and updates since. Very helpfull and was essential at learning many of the techniques and theory.Also I believe Tim from Ultimate Tinting runs a good course.
Nic Saunders is the sales manager at Bonwyke who are also very useful to work with in the tinting world so sure he could reccomend someone.

A friend of mine was trained by CP Films a few years ago. They are the distributor for Llumar tint films and I think they still offer training courses. It looks like they are based in Portsmouth but I know he did his course in Warrington so they may have a number of training centres.
They come highly recommended and even came out to help out with a complicated job a few weeks after my friend has completed the training.
