bonding to stone
I’ve been asked if I can bond some ali cut out text to a stone wall in a shopping centre. They don’t want locators because it’s a listed building & they are not allowed to drill into it, so not many options I can think of!
OK, if I wanted to bond a 2′ square of dibond, no worries – slap it up with No More Nails, but these letters are in Century Gothic Light so there won’t be much in contact with the glue. Also, the mastic doesn’t go off straight away so they might slump down before it hardens – nightmare.
Has anyone done this sort of thing? and any tips?
Cheers,
Richard
