  CE5000 New Blade

  Hey Everyone.

  Just got new blade and forgotten my settings.

  What force do you guys and gals normally use on a brand new blade? Is it 14?

  What you cutting Craig?

  We cut 651 at 12. Flex T Shirt vinyl at 20 and sparkle/chrome T Shirt stuff at 22.

  Sign Vinyl and occasionally T-Shirt Vinyl.

  best way to find the correct setting is to do a test cut and adjust to suit, it does vary from machine to machine, type of blade, and material etc.

  Normally 14 is good for a new blade on 60mic vinyl. If you start off on 12 you shouldn’t go through the whole lot.
  I would of thought it would be easier to do a test cut first though 😕 😕
