Local bowling club has asked if i can make their rink pins/numbers. Has anybody got any idea on how these are made, do they use 10mm correx for them? how do you cut it then bend them to shape. any info would be appreciated

A pic could be most helpful 😀

I’m a bit lost on what exactly is needed too. a picture as Graeme says would be very helpful. you can attach it using the upload facilities provided, if it helps.

Do you mean the lollipop shaped signs that are pushed into the grass bank at each end of the rink?

I would think foamex would be too weak if it was hit by a heavy Bowl and may break!

I’d say aluminium or light steel would be a better choice.

Ashby will cut aluminium to shape if you supply an ai file or similar.

If its just for a push in number, have a look at Grafityps "Stick its"

this is the sort of thing, near the bottom of the page, probably cheaper just to buy them ready made?
