I have an enquiry for a large scale local map to be put up in an Estate Agents office.
Any ideas where to get a map image from and the best way to display it?

    Hi!

We do a few of these for various Estate agents and they tend to like….

10mm clear acrylic, flame polished edges with nice shiny chrome stand off fixings. Map printed and applied to the rear.

Watch out for copyright issues especially if its OS maps or OS data, – they are ruthless and prosecute even small offenders.

you can purchase maps from A-Z for this type of work.

Dont try to download of multimap or similar as this is against copyright and may cost you and worse your client

from the T&C’s looks like you cant reproduce the maps without written permissions and there is no mention of the download file type so probably a biffy jpeg you cant resize 🙁

    the "large" size is A3
not much good for an office , and like john says probably just a jpg.
so only place to go is OS

you can buy a hard copy map, or a tiff on a one user liscence.
