Wrapping Gloves – Avery? Nylon? Cotton? Teflon?
Hello All!
Been busy wrapping and going through gloves!
I have noticed that many of the "cotton" gloves are actually nylon which tends to burn up quickly if they get to close to the heat….
I have seen the Avery gloves which are a bit dear… £16 or so.
Another – one supplier in the UK has a box of 12 "cotton" ones for £5 or so.
Hexis Ive tried and again they are nylon….
Been to the Chemists but to no avail…..
Although Ive looked I cant seem to find Teflon gloves…. believe I seen them somewhere but cant seem to find them….
Please let me know what you prefer and where you get them from.

Threads been covered before so have a peruse round…
I’m a wrapper day to day (not Jazzey J) and swear buy the Avery glove. Cotton ones work but not for long, my current Avery one has been through the wash 50+ times and been used over 4 yrs!
Have a few cheapos’ and one good one in the old tool kit.

APA ones are the best imo, like matty I wrap vehicles allday everyday avery one are good just don’t last anyway near as long, grafityp are good as well

we use cotton wicket keeping gloves inners! they are basically the same as wrapping gloves, but only about 4.00 pounds, they last well and when they die we just buy a new pair! white and 100% cotton

ive got the grafitype ones, theyre not bad at all
also got a pair of kevlar and cotton ones which i used for di-noc wrapping as it doesnt scratch as easy

I have Grafityps Gloves… bought two pairs a couple of years ago and i think i am still on the first pair. considered buying the Avery ones, but never had a need to really due to these ones still having plenty life in them yet.

Just thinking out of the box here, but take into consideration what contact with other substances your preferred choice of gloves come into contact with.
Could mean nothing at all but at the same time could effect the life of the gloves etc………..I know I know get a life Nigel 😀

Take ya gloves off to answer your phone, scratch ya ass etc, and yes UP the Wolves, the mightiest team in the world 😀
