I’ve used the threaded rod fixings (see off topic for pic) in the past to great success, but a job I’ve got has a stroke width that’s a bit of a concern from appearances sake.

Anybody know where I can buy these in say 1/2" wide or less – or a ‘big head’ with a plastic base of similar size and a good screw length?

Job is unsuitable for standard locators due to uneven wall surface.

    Thanks

    Dave

Picture attached in ‘off topic’ as can’t do it here.

    David,
have you checked the Bighead catalogue? I have a feeling that there is a female M5 version with a rectangular base plate which I think is about 12 X 25mm.

I did see those in Bighead. The base, is just a tad too big to be ideal – would do at a push.

May end up having to go ‘custom’ on this job – like drilling out the centres of standard 12mm pop locators & inserting a rod to get what i want.

other thread locked, I have used stainless 5mm threaded bolt’s ( heads )glued on with TA431 with good success, covered with a 6mm clear pipe sleeve for spacing,
