I’m new to doing my own printed banners too.
I use liquid laminate Clearshield which can be rollered or sprayed on.
I prefer the satin finish.
Easy to do. -
Maybe just us but on our PVC banners we dont laminate, just print, cut, hem and eyelet then ship it out. Surely these are short term items?

not just you andy. and i can’t see that the laminate would last the constant flexing

95% of the times we do like Andy, but when a customer wants a banner that will withstand a little longer we use a liquid laminate. When using the liquid laminate use a roller and remember that you have to let it dry for 72h after applying the liquid.

This banner is to go outside a chip shop and I know they expect it to last for quite a while!
Its going out unlaminated now cos they nees it in a hurry!
Is it possible to use some sort of vinyl lamination and if so do how does it work?

it sticks on…..
a banner out all the time about 12 mts max unless the wind gets it first.
if they want a something longer lasting then they want a sign.

My question may seem stupid but I was lead to believe you couldn’t laminate banner using vinyl. Hence the question seeking clarification!
It is fairly sheltered where its going so it should be fine!
Cheers guys
