    Hi

I have just been trying to print a logo i have designed and have used some jpeg fills for the lettering etc. However the image on the screen both in corel and Versaworks is a royal blue but it is printing in purple. I have a subliprint profile installed in corel but have turned it off in colour management. I am think it has to be a problem when I export to versaworks as an eps. If it import the fill to versaworks as a jpg it is printing perfectly.

    Any ideas ?

    Many Thanks

    Adam

Are you designing in RGB or CMYK? Blue often comes out purple when converting from one to the other.

Hi Thanks for the replies, the problem only occurs when importing jpeg fills and exporting to versaworks as an eps., I have the versaworks colour pallette installed in corel.

    Hi Adam,
just an idea if you reproduce the blue fill in the jpeg, then put it in your special colours in versaworks and tell it to print the blue you want when it see’s that colour, might work not sure unless the fill is solid in colour
    hope that helps

    Hi Lee

The fill is not a solid colour it is a diamond plate fill
