  VS640 opinions !!

  What do you guys think to the new VS640.

  Also I have a couple of question’s.

  Is the VP540 quicker in CMYK than the VS with the option CMYKLMLC + White + metallic but only using CMYKLMLC ??

  What is the waste and durability like ??

  Does anyone know anything about the VS640 I really need the billboard speed of the VS640 on generic banner.

  From what I can see here

  The VS640 is slower than the VP540i even when just printing CMYKLMLC on generic banner billboard speed is this right ??

  Note that the VS-640 comes in three different configurations. You choose what configuration you want the first time you install the printer.

  A) CMYK+LightCyan+LightMagenta+White+Metallic
  B) CMYK+LightCyan+LightMagenta
  C) CMYK

  We run our at configuration A, so I have no real life experience with the other configurations.

  Configuration A requires 8 cartridges – but as far as I know configuration C also requires 8 cartridges (dual CMYK). If so, that must also have make the printer twice as fast as running configuration B.
