    Hi all

I currently have a D60 with opus. I want to upgrade to a 160 now because i think it will help me a lot when it comes to wide die cutting.

Im in two minds as to which model to go for.
The D160 is equ 6000 pounds
the S class D160 is equ 7500 pounds
    i havent costed the S class t160.

what do you think is the advantage of going for the s class over the normal D160. is ti worth the extra cost.

What are the advantages of the S class T160?

Just digging up an old thread here, but what are the differences between the D160 and S160D Summa plotters (apart from £1500).

I know the S160D is a bit faster and has an Ethernet port, but apart from that can’t see much difference. Anybody got any experience of both?

    Thanks

    John

im using the D160 today for contour cut, its brilliant and so easy, just enter job no. into the cut server position over one square only and it does the rest, i like the speed of the plotter too an around great machine 😀

    Thanks Nicola

From what I can see the D160 looks very good as you say, so I am struggling to see why they charge £1500 more for the S160D which looks like a very similarly spec’d machine?!

    Anyone using an S160D?

I think the S class are tangential, so more accurate.
