Paint Protection film
Hi, I’m after someone letting me know where to buy 3m paint protection film,
I’m wanting to start to offer this as Ive had a few people enquirer about it.
if its not 3m then if anyone knows of a different good make to use…
and a approx cost expected to pay for the film?
also i know you can buy the shapes already done, i wondered if there was a site i could go on to pay to download the shapes to cut them on my plotter, ive enquired about this with a couple of companies but they wanted me to do a course at £2000 before i could buy the shapes.
i didnt fancy doing this.

I am almost certain they offer a limited use cutting program.
You buy a quantity of film, and they give you a license for their program to cut that ammount, using their templates.http://www.johnsonwindowfilms.co.uk/aut … adillo.asp

Hexis do carprotect it comes by the metre we have used it with great results we trim it to the nearest body line you can’t by it cut to shape. It varies between £13 for 610 to £27 for 1230 hope this helps

Johnson have stopped doing the film although on the website still, I called Armadillo direct (Venture tape) and they have just sold out to 3M this month!

update, re-branded product available only via 18 dealers direct in the UK as from April. They are also releasing a Matt version for wrapping the whole vehicle, should be interesting

thanks, so who do i get the 3m off? tried googling it but cannot find a dealer that can sell me the 3m scotchguard ppf.
