Sorry think i have confused the situation slightly. Basically the job for the chevrons would be split over the next 2 years(and is very rare)!!!!!.

I was just wondering how you guys went about getting work

Sorry and thanks for making that point

    Hi Kieron

You’ll get loads of help from the guys here regarding sign/print etc but asking for freebies and how to get customers may get peoples back up!

We all want more work and have spent years building up reputations.

Are you working from premises or a plotter in your bedroom?

No offense intended but needs to be asked!

Sorry. I do not want freebies but a little guidance in the right direction would be fantastic. I am working from home i a small workshop. Would a leaflet drop be any good???

Best bet is to arm yourself with some business cards and go for a walk, introduce yourself to each shop/business and leave a card. Don’t be pushy and try and sell them anything just say hello, tell them who you are and leave a card. Helps if you can do this from time it’s not an instant or fast process but over time people will get to know you.

If you are trying to get in more vehicle lettering jobs make sure your own vehicle is nicely lettered up.
