  • Why do people buy signs?

People buy signs to benefit their business.

Can you help me list all of the actions and results that signs produce?

I see the main benefits as follows:-

    1/ Advertising
    2/ To provide instructions
3/ To supply health & safety information
    4/ To provide decoration

Can you think of any other benefits that buying signs bring to your customers?

It will make the customer look more professional, in my opinion

That’s if they go to a good sign maker

How about misinformation/propaganda (i.e Global warming posters, War time posters). Tactile signs for the blind so they can feel rather than see. Signs for humour/funny signs.

    Not really.

I’m firmly convinced that the vast majority of signs go unread.

    but don’t tell my customers

A lot of the signs I make for small businesses are purely ego trips for the owners. They need a sign but they really only want to see their names on show, rather than their profession.
