    Hi Guys,

I’ve just had a message come up on my SP300 saying Error 0109. Any ideas what this might be?. I turned it off then back on and it fired straight up and printing perfect.

think its the same codes as my sc540
which is to do with the wiper the mechanism reported a unusual value.
i would make sure that its just clean a tidy for a min, and panic it it keeps happening.

Chris is right, 0109 is wiper protection error.

    Hi Guys,

Right now I am cacking myself. I have just had the same error message again. What does this mean? and Should I change the wipers?

    Seriously worried 🙁

if you have not changed them or cleaned then for a while the they need attention.
the error is saying that one of the sensors is detecting a fault. ie because of muck etc the mechanism does not go full travel some thing like that.

other possibility is the big flat ribbon cable may be starting to fail,
if you are uncomfortable getting your hands dirty then time for a engineer.

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for the reply. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty!

I have cleaned the head and also changed then Wipers. There was quite a build up of gunk on them. They have never been changed since new so I have changed them as I had a spare set here anyway.

    Hopefully this will work.

    Any other ideas please comment.
