Help Please regarding the Roland MPX-80
Hi people, I know that a lot of people who have purchased one of these machines, either use it as a paper weight or have stashed it in a box somewhere, well I was one of those people, and after paying so much money for the thing I decided to give it another try.
I used it last week and there was not a problem with it, then went to use it today and hey,,,, problem.
The power light keeps blinking fast, and the head will not lift.
I have updated the software, been on the roland dg website (not much help)
have any of you fellow engravers had this problem with the mpx 80 and if so how did you sort it. Is it a case for return to roland for repair, or is it something sillyTA MUCH

Can anyone tell me who repairs Roland engraving machines, Pref in Scotland, Glasgow,,,,,or there abouts

i will stab a a guess, the light may be flashing quick because of a current overload due to the head seizing up ? (lack of use)
often wondered if those machines were any good.

I managed to suss out the problem, I had pluged in a " fast charger " power supply, instead of the correct Metaza one 😳 😳
Only discovered this 10 mins ago, dont know what made me look
