use the measure tool its usually on the side toolbar .
there is an object measure, then save as an ai file, or convert to bmp and export as a jpg,

Peter,
Always use the object dimensions button, good little tool. I have done as AI. The measurements them go across as AI but not the lines marking where that dimensions is do not. At the moment i add them back in in illustrator but adds time. This is why i wondered if you can convert them to graphic.
Any other thoughts? 😕 -
Hi James, The dimensions are strange objects and are made so they don’t cut like the other graphics on the page. The easiest option for you would be to download a pdf writer I use Cutepdf, then you can print the file to PDF and import into any other software with the dimensions. make sure you have the options for "Dimensions and Notes" checked in the preferences.

You Could try:
>Select the line and brake path Ctrl+J
>select the line and make path Ctrl+HOr
Select and outline

Na don’t work
trying to figure a way out
I do it by saving as a pdf file but i believe some versions of signlab do not have this option.
