i am starting out in business in January and i need a wideformat printer for printing full colour banners/signs etc and eventually moving into the vehicle wrapping side of the business aswell.
i have been looking around for a wideformat printer and i have been offered a used 4 year old 54inch SP500v or a 4 year old Reconditioned Grenadier 54inch.
Both machines are similar in price, i would like to know which machine would be more reliable/better quality(ie no banding) , and which would be suitable for laying dormant for a few days at a time without head cleaning.

I’d go for the Roland ive been using em 20 years without any problems
Make sure you do some test prints and find out what parts have been replaced in the roland, heads etc
