Is it possible to engrave text using my sp300?? I have seen some sandblast film which i believe you can plot text and then apply to stone. Using a sandblasting torch you can then engrave or etch stone/glass. is this correct?? if so is it also possible to get it so you can have angled indentations as with roman style text?? is this difficult??

    thank you!

    Soyeb,
Monumental masonry is very specilalised, you cant get the "V" indent from sand blasting.
The sand blast mask is generally used to create etch effects, rather than removing large quantities of material.

I have noticed from your posts you are quite new to signmaking, and seem to want to have a go at all aspects from wrapping to estate agents boards to gravestones!

You are enthusiastic, which is all well and good, but It may be better to concentrate on one or two areas of the business and master them before moving to other things.

You know what the say, jack of all trades…
Just my opinion, for what its worth. and offered in good faith
