  • Wrapping Course? Which One?

I know this has probably been asked a thousand times but which course is most beneficial and best value for money.

I have trawled through the several posts in the forum regarding wrapping courses and it looks like there is mixed reactions. Some people found them to be very worth wile and a good investment whilst others thought they were a waste of money and you could learn just as much from watching a video or watching someone do it. Not me.

Obviously i wouldn’t be making this post unless i was interested in doing a wrapping course. I have seen 2 to be most popular and these are the grafityp one and the roland one. What is the difference are they not both the same held at the Roland academy?

And also are there any other wrapping courses that i may have overlooked?

There is no real difference between the two, as they both use the same instructor, or did. and that was James Deacon, the Roland courses had more pupils per tutor, than the original grafityp courses, and were more expensive. but did use two types of vinyl, Grafiwrap and Metamark.

But I would wait a little while, there may soon be an interesting alternative available

    😉

This may sound like a bit of a sales pitch to join uksg, but we are sworn to secrecy not to reveal anything, upon pain of castration, its for the benefit of members first, and then the rest of the sign world.

I may have stepped out of line by answering you guys, and may soon have a high voice 😀

    :lol1: Afraid peter is correct guys… 😀

UKSB Training & Accreditation Courses start in February, but for now UKSG members get first refusal. A full proper announcement Will be made as a Signextra feature on the UKSB home page on the turn of the year when i can confirm the exact dates. All i can add at this point is it will primarily be based in the East End of Glasgow but also with courses running in South East London.
