Posted by Barry Dok on 15 November 2009 at 20:30

Hi there, dose any one here use sign trim from Richard Austin Alloys But they don’t supply corner angles.

    rouge size 55mm x 30mm x 6000mm

can yo use panatrim ones or do you need to fabricate your own??

    Cheers Barry

always found austin alloys too expensive for the same product.
if you are struggling to fabricate the frames then try andy at alutrade. they can supply the frame in kit form or completely cut and read to fix in one go. http://www.alutrade.co.uk/

I Only Need the corner angles.

I can pick the trim from the warehouse half a mile from the Shop. so cuts out delivery.

There is no problem in fabricating the frames just trying to source suitable corner angles.

I have account with Robert horn and euro-point thought there might be a compatible product.

if fabricating isn’t a problem, i guess you maybe talking about something else other than i have in mind then mate…

    Corner Angle = 1.5mm L-shape angle
Cut with chop saw or hacksaw
    Drill and rivette in place

Austin alloys also sell this in 16-20ft lengths, but I’m sure your mate at austins will get them from a waste bin?

can be bought smaller from B&Q also…

That was my first idea, thought i would check to see if there was something compatible.

Don’t think I’ll buy any more aluminum from BQ again, Bought half a meter of 10mm square bar for £10

Think I’ll go with chopping up some angle.

    cheers
