Hi. Can anyone give me any tips on fitting parts to a Roland SP540v?? Am fitting a servo board and a scan motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also am fitting these parts myself as my engineer is messing about and says he cant fit them until next week sometime.

    Thanks
    Nicholas

If you have to ask then you probably shouldn’t be fitting them yourself. Don’t forget that if you do it yourself then you won’t have any sort of warranty on the new parts so it could be very costly should something go wrong.

looks straightforward, BUT, if not earthed and Capacitors Dischardged correctly, your new board etc will blow the minute you insert them.

It’s like signmaking, looks straightforward, that’s why everyone’s doing it, Some last longer than others though 😮 😮 😮
