  • do i apply graphics to the outside or inside a window?

Is there a preference or a right and wrong with regards to applicating vinyl on the outside or the inside of windows?? if you print and cut graphics on white vinyl you would only be able to apply on the outside.

The issues i have is i am currently doing a chemist and the customer is unhappy with the printed frost which was applied on the inside. He said it wasnt eye catching enough.

I am going to redo the cross by printing it on white vinyl to give it maximum brightness and apply it on the outside. the fear i have is they regularly have a cleaner who might damage the graphics.

    what would you guys do??

    thanks in advance

Print onto clear in reverse back up with white vinyl then cut out the appropriate shape in the frosting and stick it in the hole. All on the inside.

Can you not just back the existing printed frosted in white (?) 😀

There isn’t a right or a wrong way but have a look around and you will see that the preferred method is to put the graphics on the inside of the window.
Main reason for this is because they are less likely to get picked off if they are on the inside,

As has already been said if you can’t do them in cut vinyl then reverse print and back with white on the inside. Or as Andrew has said if you haven’t already removed the graphics you fitted then just cover them with white.
