  • Tips on wrapping in matt black… avery 900

Helllo, after some advice please 🙂 i have a customer who wants me to wrap his 7 series bmw in matt black. I have used matt black before in the 800 series and found it much trickier to use than gloss. I have been told that the 900 series is much better. I have tried a sample but still its not quite as easy to use as gloss.. Is the avery 900 series the best to use for this.. or are there other makes you could recommend. i find that it attracts alot of dust to the outside of the film and finger prints 🙁 Does anyone have any tips… Thanks

    Ben

I’ve never wrapped using a matt film mate… have heard of folk using matt laminate on a cast to thicken the vinyl making application easier, but as i said. just heard of folk doing that. i think the finger marks etc are a common problem with matt…

as for alternatives, have you read/saw this one?

Having tried 900 and series 85 the difference between fitting then both is huge, with 85 winning hands down.

Haven’t been on any wrapping courses though.
