I’m thinking of buying a Javelin Cuter bar 1600mm. I do a good bit of work on fire appliances with Diamond Grade and would be using it to cut that.

So, is the Javelin up to this work

We use it to cut 5mm foam so any thickness of vinyl will be a breeze.

I cut my knuckles quite badly once working late, in a hurry with a straight edge cutting foamex. I bought a 1600mm wide Javelin the next day! I can honestly say it is the best tool I have ever bought. I use it all the time to cut vinyl and f/x and it comes to site in case we need to trim any boards at the last second to fit. …Get one…Its money well spent.

I ordered on Monday and it arrived today. I have only cut 4 lenghts of 33mm Diamond grade to test it and i know it is a fantastic tool. It will be interesting to see how much more it can do. its a great tool and i only have it a couple of hours.
