We havent got one, but had a demo of the speedy 300 and it was fantastic – definately next on our upgrade list.

Some amazing deals to be had, just before christmas they were around £25k but you can pick one up at the moment with extraction for £17k

    Hi Andy,
Thank you for your reply. Without boring you with the details i have the opportunity to put an offer on a Speedy 300. It’s an older version with no Auto Focus or Rotary Arm. Coming from a background using a Saber 404 I’m only familiar with non laser machines.
I’m not convinced that i can find work for this kind of machine. The 404 had a bed size that allowed complete sets of flat cuts to be cut (dependent on cap height) and with a pull through feature you can produce cuts the full length of a sheet.
    Any other thoughts?

Dont worry about the auto focus and rotary attachment, we’ve got an epilog machine here. I dismantled the auto focus as it got in the way and I’ve never had requirements for a rotary attachment. I’m sure you could pick up a rotary seperately if you found a requirement.

Is your Epilog the same sort of machine with the same size work area?
What kinds of things are you utilizing it for?

The epilog machine is smaller and slower, its 24" x 12" work area.

We work a lot with two ply engraving laminates, rubber stamps, stainless marking etc.

Have a look at the laserbits website it’ll give you loads of potential ideas
