    Hi there after designed in corel as correct letter sizing when going in to cutting master does it have to be resized? Or could i cut direct from corel

    not unless you want it a different size.

    Hi Chris i sized it in corel and cut from cutting master and the lettering was bigger?

    by how much.

    go back to the corel file and measure the lettering with a box

    just measured it was by 3mm but when i printed last it was by a lot more than that. one is in mm and other cm can i change them to the same

    as long as you have the scale factor set to 100% in CM2 the size in corel will be cut.

    if it was 25% or !00% different then you have a mismatch of the step size.

    corel reports the size of text probably different to what you are expecting.

    type a X and size it to 50mm then add a y to it you will see that the reported object size has changed in the height as well as length. this now includes the decender of the y

    draw a 50 high oblong and place text in it and notice how the reporting of sizes as you alter the text content. convert the text to curves and it may all change again.

    by 100% do you mean where its got the job size?
    thanks i see what you mean when you do txt do you size it all as normal or in a box?

    now you understand the sizing you do it as required to get the end result.

    just draw a 100 mm square and send it to cm2 and cut it, if the cut square is 100mm then all is well with the system.

    any other size irregularities is down to how you have sized it up in corel.
