Help needed setting up my Creation A630 vinyl cutter?
Hi all,
I am a newbie and proud. 😮
We have bought a second hand Creation A630 and got with it a Signcut CD and dongle, sadly the CD shows as blank. So… I downloaded Signcut x2 which seems nice, but it does not seem to work. I click on cut and the software crashes after about two minutes.
The software says it is connected via USB, which it is, and it has the right make and model. The cutter works fine when tested in manual and test run mode.
Having searched the forum I read that similar cutters need to be online but the manual for the A630 says it self switches when data is recieved. So I am now confused.
Any help would be really appreciated.

I am quite new at this.
I bought the Signcut dongle to use with my Fosion Cutter.
The problem that you might have is that the dongle knows who owns it and I am not to sure if you can transfer a dongle over to a new owner without informing signcut to transfer the product key to your computer.
I may be wrong but try and contact signcut and see if they can help.
I am not sure if I am allowed to put the web address for signcut here or not.

I got in touch with Signcut tech support and am really pleased to say they are being very helpful and seem to know what they are talking about. A very pleasant surprise.
