  • Grenadier : Maintenance Contract

    Good morning everyone.

We run a Grenadier printer and have always had our maintenance contract with B&P. Well it’s up for renewal at the beginning of October and we’d like to renew it, but wondered whether anyone could recommend any other companies that could give us cover on this machine ?? We’ve had very good service with B&P, but just thought about looking into alternatives.

The cover we’ve been quoted on so far states it’s "full coverage including unlimited print heads".

Thanks in advance for any recommendations. 😉

I would be interested to know who is offering you unlimited heads mate?

I am currently speaking with a company offering maintenance contracts. So I am interested in what any other firms out there offering this type of service.

The offer is from B&P still. They’re still there but trading as BP Graphic Supplies Ltd.

We were just wodering whether anyone offered similar, but maybe cheaper ?

not trying to kick the company when its down as i had allot of respect for the original B&P in its day. but after paying £2k per year (without heads) and not being able to get them to answer the phone for up to two weeks at a time, i had had enough! i was NOT alone on that, many UKSG members were suffering same.
I am sure the NEW B&P will be learning from their old faults and trying harder, but for me personally, once bitten…. and all that!

At the end of the day, you take a maintenance contract for peace of mind, not a gamble! 😕

Oh dear that’s not good. I must admit towards the ‘end’ I don’t think we needed to call them out so probably wasn’t aware of the problems.

We’d definately be interested to see who other people are using and we’ll give them a call and see what they can do.

    😀
