is this a new problem to this file or have you just started to use CM2 as i think there are different versions for x3 x4.
just my opinion but non of them are worth the time, Alan knows what i think of cm2. graphtec cutters are great got 2 of them.

i use the windows driver available from graphtec which is a no frills plotter driver straight out of corel.
it cuts whats on the page that has a black hairline end of story.

here is my take on those two programs Peter.

cm2 uses the out put part of flexy as i understand it and if that’s the best they can do, i don’t fancy the rest of the program.

signlab why does it need a patch for a patch oh and there is a patch to fix that as well. and grossly over priced for my liking,

    been nice weather down here.

so they have got better over the years pleased to hear it.
still think its over priced and i would find it awkward to use as it has a dongle.

My take on this (and I have SL – Corel – Graphtec plotter.
CM potentially could be very good but in practice is not very good unless new versions have sorted group and speed issues.
Corel will do the vast majority of bread and butter stuff but needs some form of utility to cut, the Windows driver does the job but I believe there is a length limitation (Chris can advise here).
SL is far more expensive but then it does have alot more vinyl specific features that said the basic module is not a fortune but would have the very good SL cutting front end + node editing which is very good (you could digitise on screen a contour cut line in minutes.
SL does do regular builds but I see that as a positive thing as minor glitches are corrected on route rather than 2 or 3 large patches which address several things but may still leave others. Software is always ‘work in progress’
If I were starting from scratch I would be looking at CoCut alongside Corel and comparing the features with SL. I’ve no experience with Flexi, I understand its good but so is SL.
