Jv-3 Issues printing onto Avery MPI1005
Its been one of them weeks this week, (to top it off, Im fitting digital wallpaper for the first time this sat, judging by the past week i may cancel) 🙁
I’ve been trying to print on this Avery MPI1005 for the past couple of days with no luck, I have sent the images off to Spandex who have forwarded them on to Avery, The problem is, I’m supposed to ve wrapping this on Friday, and want this to gas for 48 hours.
I have changed the profiles to a couple of others, I.e Metamark MD-7 etc with no joy, We usually print everything on 35 for the pre print and print temperature, I have adjusted both with still no luck.
We are using Lyson inks and never had any issues like this before.
Anyone ever come across a similar problem?

Is that meant to be black?

Its meant to be a dark gray, Colouring isn’t a problem its the blotches that I cant stop from appearing.

I’d try a few other profiles, also the heat settings may still be a bit low.

Thanks for the reply, I put the print heat up to 45, Still with no joy. 🙁
Will mix it up a bit more with the profiles.

Had the same problem and found out it was 5 year old material that I had bought, look inside the roll or on the back of the material for numbers and they (Avery) can tell you exactly when it was made.

i think i can see black dots in that print, is the your blotches?
dont think that is heat but you were a little low.My jv3 heater settings for 1005

We used to use 1005 a fair bit, but now using 1900, much better stuff to work with and prints really well on the JV3
